As an avid traveler from the United States, I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Modern Country Cottage outside Cheddar and Wedmore with Mendip views. the cottage was beautifully decorated and provided a cozy home away from home during my stay. the fully equipped kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, and the free WiFi was a great added bonus for staying connected. One of the highlights of my stay was the children's playground onsite, which was perfect for entertaining my kids. the location of the cottage was ideal, with easy access to explore Somerset and visit Cheddar Gorge. the peaceful surroundings and stunning views of the Mendip hills made for a truly relaxing vacation. The attention to detail provided by the host was exceptional, from the detailed welcome pack to the complimentary drinks and jams left for us to enjoy. the outdoor seating area was perfect for enjoying breakfast and evening drinks while taking in the beautiful views. We also appreciated the laundry service available, making it easy to keep up with our laundry during our stay. My experience at the Modern Country Cottage was fantastic. the clean and comfortable accommodations, along with the attentive hosts and convenient location, made for a memorable stay. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing retreat in the beautiful countryside of Somerset.
